Beginning/Ending Class (in approximate order):
- Seiza – Kneel
- Makuso – Meditate
- Makuso yame – Finish meditation
- Shoman-ni rei – Bow to the Shoman
- Sensei-ni rei – Bow to your sensei
- Otogae-ni rei – Bow to your peers, and to your self
Commands:
- Hajime – Begin/Engage
- Hidari – Left
- Kamaete – Assume commanded position
- Mawatte – Turn
- Migi – Right
- Naore – Return to original/starting position
- Rei – Assume ready position (generally, from a relaxed position)
- Shizentai – Assume ready position
